Selecting Your Stylist
We encourage you to carefully select the right stylist for your chosen service. Favour, our CEO and founder, specialises in:
- Weaves
- Braiding Styles
- Natural Hair Care
Before Your Appointment
To ensure the best possible experience, we kindly ask you to prepare for your appointment by following these guidelines:
- Hair Cleanliness: Please arrive with freshly washed hair, free from oils or products, as this will help us achieve the best results.
- Damaged Hair: If your hair is damaged or showing signs of breakage, we may suggest rescheduling or choosing a style that may causes less tension to your hair.
- Braid Removal: If you need previous braids removed, please book a separate braid removal service to allow enough time for your new style.
- Detangling: If your hair requires detangling, please let us know in advance, and we’ll allocate additional time.
- Hair Length: For braiding services, we kindly ask that your hair is at least 4 inches long.
Extensions
If you’ve booked a service that requires extensions, please review the service description for the correct type and quantity. If you’ve selected the option for us to provide extensions, kindly inform us of your preferred hair colour at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Booking Deposits
To secure your appointment, we require a £20 non-refundable deposit, which will be applied to your final balance. The remaining amount can be settled by cash or card on the day of your visit.
Punctuality & Cancellations
We kindly request that you arrive on time for your appointment. Here’s what to keep in mind:
- Late Arrivals: If you are running late, please let us know. After 15 minutes without notice, we may have to cancel your appointment.
- Late Fees: If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, a £10 fee will apply, and we may need to adjust your service to fit the remaining time or reschedule.
- No-shows: Missed appointments will be charged 50% of the service cost to the card provided when booking.
We understand that plans can change. You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours in advance. Please note that rescheduling more than two times will result in automatic cancellation. After two no-shows, future bookings may not be accepted.
Home Service Appointments
We also offer home service appointments for clients who prefer the convenience of styling in their own space. If you would like to arrange for a home visit, please contact us directly to discuss availability.
Please note that additional charges may apply for home services, based on travel distance and the service type.
On the Day of Your Appointment
Please note that the duration of your appointment may vary. While we strive to adhere to the originally scheduled time, unforeseen circumstances might cause your session to run longer or shorter than anticipated. Factors such as additional discussions, unexpected challenges, or adjustments to your needs can extend the session, while efficient progress or simplified requirements may result in a shorter time.
